Virtual Commencement Spring 2020

President Cynthia Pemberton Sm

"We have incredible graduates who have overcome innumerable challenges, including a spring semester filled with obstacles, and we want to do everything we can to recognize and celebrate their success. I know a virtual ceremony will never be the same as actually walking across the stage, but we are going to do our best to honor this year's graduating class and I hope the entire Warrior family will join us virtually to cheer them on." - President Cynthia Pemberton

Event Information

Lewis-Clark State College held a virtual commencement ceremony on Friday, May 15, at 2 p.m. (PDT). The ceremony premiered on LC State's Facebook page:

Can 2020 graduates participate in the 2021 ceremony?
Yes, all fall 2019 and spring 2020 graduates will be invited to participate in the spring 2021 ceremony. Details are forthcoming and will be communicated directly to graduates.

Is regalia available this spring?
Due to demands related to the production of healthcare products (including masks), many suppliers are reporting a limited supply of commencement regalia (caps, stoles, tassels). Regalia is not required for the virtual commencement ceremony, however, graduates interested can contact the LC Bookstore. Caps, tassels and stoles are available for purchase on a first-come, first-first serve basis. Students should call the LC Bookstore at 208-792-2242 between 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Bookstore has learned that many graduating seniors have not received their regalia refund. Jostens has informed us that due to COVID-19, it may take up to 90 days to process. We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience. - Store Manager
