Who is eligible for Disability Services?

Per the ADA... anyone who has a disability, has a record of such disability or is regarded as so. A disability is defined as a physical or mental impairment that limits one or more major life activities.

How do I get services?

To set up an appointment call (208) 792-2211 or come in to Reid Centennial Hall Room 111. Online paperwork will be completed at the appointment. Bring appropriate documentation, if available to the appointment.

What documentation is needed?

Documentation that addresses what your disability is, how it impacts you, assistive devices or services, and the credentials of the diagnosing professional.

For Students:

Students need to contact the office at the beginning of each semester to arrange for accommodations. Providing the Disability Counselor with proper documentation of the disability and suggested accommodations will speed the process.

For Others:

Helping students transition from high school to college can be challenging. Here are resources to assist in this process. Students are expected to advocate for themselves. Disability Services cannot discuss your student's school work, grades, accommodations or other information without a signed release of information form.
