Before LCSC, Tessa worked extensively in the public sector at the Federal (National Park Service), State (Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources), and Local (City of Moscow, ID) levels. She has also worked in the nonprofit sector for various organizations throughout the Pacific and Inland Northwest. In additional to teaching for the Business Division, Tessa serves as a program advisor for LCSC’s Nursing and Health Sciences Division.
Tessa is passionate about community engagement and serves as the Chair of the Coeur d’Alene Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee, as well as the Board Secretary and Grants Committeewoman for Emerge, a community arts nonprofit. She enjoys backpacking, hiking, climbing, reading, Green Bay Packers football, and being surrounded by dogs.
