Continuing Education & Community Events (CECE) is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals through distinctive service and exceptional programs. CECE is a department of LCSC Community Programs. We offer accessible lifelong learning courses year-round with a variety of delivery methods. Courses are available throughout the LC Valley, and through the outreach locations in Orofino and Grangeville. Courses range in subject and include topics in art, technology, dance, personal finances, health, and educational tours of the surrounding areas. Some courses qualify for continuing education units. Other educational opportunities we provide include the Silverthorne Artist's Series and Road Scholar programs.
CECE is also the coordinating department for popular LC Valley events Dogwood Festival of the Lewis-Clark Valley, Art Under the Elms, and the Dogwood Show & Shine.
